QAS Launches Asian Operation with Singapore Office

QAS, the world leader in address management solutions, announced its entry into the Asian marketplace today, with the opening of its Singapore office and a strategic alliance with Singapore Post (SingPost).

QuickAddress software collects, cleans, maintains and enhances the management of address data, making it an extremely valuable tool for businesses conducting high-levels of customer interactions.

QAS software is linked to SingPost's Postal Address File (PAF), allowing users access to every address in Singapore including floor and unit numbers. The software can validate potential customers' address data to target marketing activities more effectively, increase customer service and satisfaction, enhance business reputation, reduce fraud, and ultimately, increase bottom line profits.

"Singapore is the ideal launch pad for our expansion into Southeast Asia. "Our preliminary research shows that average address entry in most Asian countries requires over 70 individual keystrokes. QuickAddress can reduce this function to 10 keystrokes or less. The accuracy of the data also increases because QuickAddress cross references address details against SingPost's Postal Address File (PAF)."

Mr Parker went on to say the importance of address management to a company's bottom line should not be underestimated. It is estimated more than US$120 million is wasted every year on inaccurate mailing of small letters alone for many countries. For the majority of implementations, QuickAddress delivers more than a 100 percent return on investment within one year.

There are over one million licenced users of QuickAddress software across 9000 customers worldwide. These organizations, reaping the productivity gains offered by QAS' address management solutions, include Compaq, Citibank, HSBC and Veritas.

QAS' official Singapore launch will coincide with the Direct Marketing Asia Summit held at the Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre (Suntec Convention Hall) from 27th to 29th August 2003. QAS will be exhibiting its full suite of QuickAddress software.
